Our Golden Adventure

The Beginning

Our Golden Retriever journey began in 2011 with the arrival of our first Golden, Cassie. Our experience with Cassie left us with a newfound love for the Golden breed and we want to share this boundless joy with others. All of our dogs are a part of our family and live in our home with us.

Our family is blessed with a special needs son and our Goldens keep a special watch over him. The amount of patience and love they show him is heartwarming and they have the ability to make him feel included. They are always by his side to ensure he is safe and not left behind. You can see an example of this in our video below where Lailah(one of our Golden Girls) swims out to make sure he makes it safely back to shore.

Our Goldens come along with us on many adventures. In the summer this includes outdoor hiking, swimming, dock diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, horse-back riding and more. In the winter this expands to snow sledding and other fun winter activities. Our Goldens are also by our sides in the ‘not so fun’ adventures. When our daughter broke her back, we had Katy trained and registered as a companion dog to help her in and out of her wheelchair as well as assist with some other basic needs. Katy refused to leave her side throughout her recovery.

This love and patience we have experienced from our Goldens is what we strive to produce in our puppies. In addition to the loving Golden personality, we also focus on the health and well-being of our puppies. Before any breeding takes place, our dogs undergo thorough testing for OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) clearances, encompassing hips, elbows, heart, and eyes. Additionally, we diligently screen our dogs for 250 genetic markers, ensuring the future health of their puppies.

Once puppies are born, we emphasize early socialization and attentive care as well as the recommended puppy vaccinations, de-worming, and veterinary examinations.

Our dogs have enriched our lives in immeasurable ways and we hope to share that with your family as well. Our dedication is to provide extraordinary, well-rounded puppies that will become cherished family members.
